  • Regional Technical Support Specialist

    Responsibilities:
    • Support subsidiaries and customers of Konica Minolta PP devices and related solutions, resolving their issues in a timely manner
    • Be the liaison person for related escalations
    • Provide technical consultation to regional subsidiaries and customers (presales and post sales) with regards to both hardware and software
    • Train regional subsidiaries and distributors on Konica Minolta PP devices functionality and related solutions
    • Work with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deadlines as necessary
    Requirements:
    • Degree/Diploma in Engineering/ Computing Science/ Information Systems with minimum 4 years of working experience
    • Working knowledge of Unix and Windows environments
    • Familiarity with print related languages (Postscript, JDF), VDP technologies and solutions would be an advantage
    • In depth understanding of Production Printers, colour management, and the various print technologies will be advantageous
    • Experience with print room environments and central printing workflow
    • Good interpersonal and customer handling skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
    • Willing to Travel
  • Regional Solutions System Engineer

    Responsibilities:
    • Analyze, design, code and implement, test (unit, integration, sub-system and acceptance), deploy, support software solutions, observing waterfall or agile methodologies, meeting schedules and deadlines as required.
    • Perform software maintenance (post release defects) as required.
    • Produce the necessary documentation (requirements, design, test plans, user guide etc) for each phase of the development as required.
    • Perform development support tasks (source code management, release builds, building test modules etc) as required.
    • Answer/reply/track queries from vendors and national centres (email, phone, face to face meetings) regarding Konica Minolta API.
    • Perform escalation of queries when required, and to continuously monitor and assist in the progress of the query till a satisfactory reply has been retrieved for vendor or national centre.
    • To be the regional expert on Konica Minolta API, whereby assisting the regional consultants on the feasibility and design of solutions involving Konica Minolta API.
    • Any other duties as deemed fit by management.
    Requirements:
    • Degree/Diploma in Computing Science/Information Systems or related areas
    • Min 4 years of experience in software development (for senior), 0-4 years (for junior)
    • Strong Java/C++/C# skills
    • Working knowledge of XML/SOAP Web services (Axis/JaxWS)
    • Working knowledge in web application development (ASP/JSP/Javascript/HTML5/CSS3)
    • Working knowledge of scripting languages (eg Perl)
    • In depth understanding of MFP, business work flows, document management systems is preferred
    • Relevant working experience in Office Automation Solutions or IT software solutions in the document or content management is preferred
    • Good interpersonal and customer handling skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
    • Responsible attitude and a willing-to-help-others mind set
    • Willing to travel as required
  • Regional Solutions Consultant

    Responsibilities:
    • Working closely with the regional sales to interact with prospective customers to establish & understand customers’ business requirements, needs understanding & analysing to provide high quality solutions design for customers’ business.
    • Support and develop sales opportunities with regional companies
    • Support Managed Print Services solutions design
    • Provide high level of quality pre-sales technical consultation & develop cost effective, resilient, innovative & reliable solutions to win proposals, bids/tenders
    • Provide solutions training to regional companies
    • Represent company as the solutions subject-matter expert
    • Assist and source 3rd party solutions to enhance business
    • Articulate technical issues to 3rd party vendors and provide level 1 & 2 support to customers and regional companies
    • Ability to articulate solution to prospective customers & maintain solid, technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits
    • Assist regional companies to conduct high level & in-depth presentations on proposed solutions tailored to customers
    • Configure applications for proof of concept
    • Ensure quality documentation and updates pertaining to company solutions
    • Provide support for marketing activities includes preparation, setup, seminars, workshops, road shows, product shows etc
    Requirements:
    • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science / Info System/ Info Technology or related IT discipline
    • Minimum 3 years working experiences within the Electronic Document Management/ Workflow & Business Process / Print Management and Content Management
    • Network Infrastructure knowledge & System Integration pre-sales skills would be an added advantage
    • Preferable with Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCP etc.)
    • Proficiency in architecture & design experience with complex IT solutions that encompass applications, data and technologies across multiple platforms
    • Excellent interpersonal, good customer handling and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyse complex requirements with impact to both business & technical aspect
    • Willing to Travel
