Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia worked with Care Corner, a local charity organisation, to distribute essential food supplies to 100 households. 29 employees and family members participated in the food distribution initiative, which saw them disseminating the food items door-to-door to the residents, as well as engaging the residents through a survey about their thoughts on the community. Our joint initiative with Care Corner demonstrates our passionate commitment to contribute positively to the local community and it is part of Konica Minolta’s effort to actively engage our staff in Corporate Social Responsibility activities at least once every quarter. Through the food distribution activity and the survey, volunteers from Konica Minolta developed a deeper understanding on the needs of the residents they had interacted with. The volunteers also provided feedback and alerted Care Corner staff on the families that needed more assistance.
